About this campground
Haugsjåsund Camping is a charming campsite in picturesque surroundings in the municipality of Nissedal. You will find us on the National Road 41 between Åmli and Treungen. The campsite is a family business that has been running it for several generations. We have offers for young and old. Whether you are a day hiker or a weekly hiker or would like to accommodate your stroller here for a year. Then you are welcome with us. About 15 km from the campsite you will find the famous potholes in the Nissedal. The potholes are located in a partially dried out river bed and are a popular bathing spot for young and old. We have two newly renovated rental huts with 4 beds.

There is a large, clean and well maintained sanitary facility with toilets and showers. The campsite has a great sandy beach and its own natural pool for the youngest. There is a trampoline, a sandbox and a swing rack. And besides, we have a beautiful beach volleyball court at the bottom of the river. In the area there are good fishing opportunities, and you have to offer directly to fish on the river.
