About this campground
The farm is located in the middle of Eksingedalen, 2 km from the national road. There is a nice view over the valley and there are good opportunities for mountain and fishing trips. The host is engaged in milk production. Here you can greet cows, dogs and cats. We also have a stable for rent which is 4 km from the farm, with a driveway all the way to the front. There are good skiing opportunities in the winter. Haugen Fjellgård is located so that there is a short distance to active outdoor life, so it is natural that these are the main activities on the farm. Just outside Haugen fjellgård flows the beautiful river Ekso.

The river contains a lot of fish due to the alternating flow down the river. In some places the current is quite strong, while in other places the river flows into calm waters. Therefore, this river is suitable for anglers of all ages. You can read more about this under the fishing menu. The nature around the farm has more to offer. The mountain tours are very popular, both on foot in the summer and on skis in the colder season. The terrain is varied and will provide just as good challenges for the expert as for the beginner. Cows and sheep are run on the farm, and in the summer the animals are out on pasture. Then the grass will be in the house, and this is a job that can be fun to take part in for the vast majority of people. The possibilities are many. We also suggest a trip on the construction road that BKK made several years ago. A trip on this road takes you far into the mountains, by car or on foot. It's always exciting to see how far you get by car before the snow stops the trip and you have to turn around. The hosts at Haugen Fjellgård are naturally very well-known in the areas around the farm, and will help you with the choice of destinations and excursions should this be desired.
