About this campground
Hauganfjæra Camping is only an hour's drive from Trondheim. The campsite is idyllically located at the far end of the Frosta peninsula. Frosta is a distinctly agricultural village, and is referred to by many as "Trondheim's kitchen garden". Frosta also has a very important role in Trøndelag's history. It was here that Norway's oldest legislative assembly - the Frostatinget - had its seat. In the immediate vicinity of the campsite you will find the medieval church Logtun as well as the small island of Tautra with the remains of Tautra Monastery. Frosta also offers great opportunities for both those interested in hiking and those interested in fishing.

There are many activity opportunities for both young and old at Hauganfjæra Camping and in the area around the campsite. We have 5 new apartments that we rent out. 3 small with 4 beds and 2 large with 6 beds. All the apartments have all the equipment you need to have a comfortable holiday. The apartments also have the option of broadband and satellite. If you would like bed linen, this is in addition to the daily rent. Duvets and pillows are there. All apartments have a balcony with a nice view of Trondheim. For the children, we can tempt you with a 4H farm nearby. We also have lots of other activities for the children, with a jumping pillow (summer season), play areas and not least a small sheep family that visits us every summer. Welcome to us!
