About this campground
300+ acre grain farm that also hosts show cattle and calves, chickens, ducks, a couple farm dogs and tame and wild barn cats. Also have numerous visitors being bald eagles, red-tail hawks, deer and coyotes. A 2 1/2 acre pond has some of best bluegills in area. Beside the pond, farm has a creek running thru 30 acres of trees and pasture on property . Farm is 3/4 mile off of Interstate 80 and 1/2 mile on a private lane. Farm has full set of farm buildings including a huge man cave designed after bar/restaurants located in North Woods of Wisconsin. A small apple orchard sits within the farm and homemade cider is made each fall. Blackberry bushes surround some of the farm buildings and are some of the best in the area. And almost forgot the big garden filled with some of the best tomatoes in northern Illinois.
