About this campground
Sandy Springs Farms, located in Hinton, Oklahoma, is dedicated to raising premium buffalo and beef with integrity, care, and respect for the land. Their animals roam freely across rolling green hills—never confined to feedlots—and are nourished with grass, hay, and a natural low-protein feed. No hormones, growth stimulants, or animal by-products are ever used, reflecting their commitment to ethical and responsible farming. The Stepp family began with just 40 acres and six buffalo in a more urban setting before expanding to their present-day ranch outside Hinton. Today, the farm spans wide-open pastureland designed to support a healthy, thriving herd.
