About this campground
Redfern Farms would be a great place to park your RV and spend the night among the trees, a beautiful old barn that was built at the turn of the century, a 3-hole golf course and best of all serenity. The only thing you may hear is the hoot of an owl or a moo of a cow. It is only 6 miles from Chadron NE and affords you the opportunity to visit many sites around the Chadron area. It is only 2 miles from the Museum of the Fur Trade, which is nationally know. The Dawes County Historical Museum is located 3 miles from Chadron and a fabulous place to visit and take a walk down memory lane; there are so many things you may have had in your past and want to share with your children.

Right next to the Dawes County Museum is the Ridgeview Golf Course and a few miles South of these two locations is the Chadron State Park, which by the way was the first state park in Nebraska. It offers hiking trails, trail rides, a swimming pool, water activities and lots of picnic areas. There is also the Mari Sandoz High Plains Heritage Center on the Chadron State College Campus.
