About this campground
Welcome to Caldicot Farmstead, formerly the Cassidy Farm of Bingham Maine which was established in 1895. We purchased the farm in 2024 with the intent of bringing it back to life, keeping it in the Victorian era as much as possible. Work is ongoing everywhere but everyone is welcome to visit! Come and tour the house, the connected workroom and barn, explore the restoration projects in progress; assist if you would like, sample products made such as apple butter, crabapple jelly, gooseberry or rhubarb jam made from produce grown and produced on the farm. Learn a skill from the Victorian era, most of which we try to live by.

Visit Cluckington Estate, which houses our chickens in the Manor House, turkeys in the Gate House, ducks and geese by the pond (still in the process of being built!) in Quackersville. See the horses and the pigs to discover their quirky natures as well as how they benefit us in everyday farm life.
