About this campground
Ssangyong Valley Sunflower Pension & Campground is located in Nongam-myeon, Mungyeong-si, Gyeongbuk. It is about 23 km from Mungyeong City Hall, reachable by car via Muun-ro and Cheonghwa-ro in about 40 minutes. It is situated right in front of Ssangyong Valley, one of Mungyeong's representative tourist destinations. Many visitors come here in summer to enjoy swimming and camping simultaneously. The campground offers 33 general campsites, all made of crushed stone, with two sizes: 5.5m x 6.5m and 6.5m x 7.5m. Personal caravans and trailers are allowed. It operates on weekdays and weekends, closing temporarily for two months from January to February each year. The campground is surrounded by rich tourist resources such as Ssangyong Valley, Janggak Falls, and Songnisan. There are also many restaurants nearby, offering a variety of dishes to enjoy.
