About this campground

A warm welcome awaits you at Green Acres.We are an adults-only park, catering solely to members of The Caravan Club, in a peaceful village location set within beautiful Lincolnshire coast and countryside. Just chill out on this tranquil site, use it as a base to visit Lincolnshire's many Historical Towns steeped in history from throughout the ages or enjoy one of our golden sandy beaches and a locally made ice-cream.Green Acres is just 5 miles from Sutton-On-Sea, and is surrounded by a number of attractive villages and Towns with many local hostelries serving locally brewed beers and Lincolnshire reared and grown foods.You can find course fishing only three miles from our site and 4.5 for sea fishing, also there are a number of Equestrian centres should you wish to go horse riding.If you wish to venture further for a day out then Lincoln and its magnificent Cathedral and shops are always worth a visit.The SiteAll 5 of our electric hook-up pitches are set out to give you maximum room and privacy, and all have a wooden picnic bench for your exclusive use. On site we have a water supply and chemical waste disposal facilities.Local AreaNearby, there are several villages and Towns which may be of interest to you, such as:Alford Market Town, and its working 5-sail Windmill, is the birthplace of Anne Hutchinson who was America's first female preacher.Spilsby is the birthplace of the Arctic explorer, Sir John Franklin.Bollingbroke Castle, the birthplace of Henry Bollingbroke who became King Henry IV.Willoughby is world-famous as the birth place of Captain John Smith (pocahontas fame) and the Governor of Virginia USA.Skegness' Gibraltar Point, a stunning nature reserve accompanied by a gorgeous stretch of sandy beach.Woodhall Spa, home of the Dam Busters 617 Squadron in 1945, and East Kirkby's aviation heritage centre where you will find one of the last operational Lancaster Bombers, named Just Jane.
