About this campground
Right on the beach at Holmsbu, you will find our glamping tent with good beds, chairs, blankets, barbecue, outdoor furniture and everything you need for comfortable camping life. The space is completely to itself. The sea and the eiders will be your only company. You can go to bed - and wake up in a good bed to birds chirping and waves lapping. The tent is large (20 sqm floor area), pleasant and generously furnished. It stands on a plating, which provides a good and stable base. Dry, warm and good, even if there should be a summer shower. The magic already starts when you arrive in Knivsvik. You park the car in the designated parking space.

You put what little luggage you have on the green wheelbarrow. Then you wander 150 meters through magical and friendly forest. Right down by the sea, a space opens up where the tent stands, ready to welcome you with good, made-up beds, towels, chairs and tables inside and outside. Sit down with something good to drink, or take a dip from the "private" bathing beach right outside the tent. The tent has electricity with a heater/fan if needed. Outdoor furniture and own grill/fire pan in front of the tent. In the sanitary building, right next to the car park, there is a toilet/shower. In a tiny cabin right next to it, you will find a fridge and gas burner, frying pan and saucepans if you want to cook food other than what you do on the grill. There is also a Nespresso machine and coffee capsules here. Kettle, pressure pot tea and pressure pot coffee. There are a couple of cans of water that you can otherwise fill in the sanitary building if it becomes empty. You can stay at the tent the whole time, or you can borrow a couple of new and good kayaks. (It is free, but feel free to reserve them at the same time as you book the tent, as there are more people who can use them). An old rowing boat is at your disposal. The area is a favorite place for those who want to fish. It is shallow and many fly fish for sea trout. If you're looking for mackerel instead, you can fish from a nearby jetty. Bring your girlfriend, a good friend or a family member. Should you wish to be a couple more, perhaps children, we will surely find a solution for that.
