Hosted by Jump to Photos George Payne Cossar State Park Campground Mississippi George Payne Cossar State Park Overview George Payne Cossar State Park campground has 83 single-family campsites and is located next to Enid Lake and close to Holly Springs National Forest. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate.  There are 35 waterfront sites and 41 first-come, first-serve sites. Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilet, hot showers ($), laundry facilities and a dump station. There is also a boat ramp, disc golf course, fishing cleaning station, picnic area/pavilion and playground. Ice and firewood are available for sale at the campground. George P. Cossar State Park – Area Recreation Outdoor recreation includes boating, fishing, water skiing, jet skiing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, hunting, hiking, biking and wildlife viewing. You may also be interested in Hugh White State Park. Persimmon Hill Campground (Enid Lake) is also nice.
