About this campground
Garlieston Lodge is situated in the village of Garlieston. The Lodge was originally built in the 1800's as a Gate Lodge for Galloway House, the seat of the Earl of Galloway and sits in its own 5 acres of woodland with a small river running through it. The river feeds into our small ¾ acre trout fishery populated with rainbow, brown and brook trout, we also have a small breeding herd of rare breed Large Blacks Britain’s only all black pigs. On the rest of the small holding we have free range hens, geese and ducks.
