Motor vehicle noise from trail use characterizes much of the experience here, as [Elisha C.](https://thedyrt.com/camping/minnesota/garfvert-nemadji-state-forest/reviews/14652) notes the area "can get busy" and mentions noise considerations "even though there are sites on a nice lake." The sandy trail conditions provide decent riding for various skill levels. Campers can collect firewood from the surrounding forest area. Basic amenities include a water pump and outhouses, with sites described as flat and sizeable. The location provides access to both summer ATV riding and winter snowmobiling opportunities. Day-use facilities include a designated picnic area separate from overnight camping spots. For those seeking different camping experiences, nearby alternatives include [Anderson](https://thedyrt.com/camping/minnesota/anderson-berger-park) to the southwest.
