About this campground
별천지 야영장은 가평에서도 청정계곡으로 이름난 화악계곡(화악천) 중간에 위치하고 있다. 오래전부터 별천이 유원지라는 이름으로 계곡을 찾는 사람들의 쉼터겸 놀이터가 되는 장소다. 캠핑장은 도로를 사이에 두고 양쪽으로 자리잡고 있는 데. 관리사무소와 방갈로 등이 도로 안쪽 산쪽 구역에 자리잡고 있고 반대편 계곡과 바로 인접한 구역에 캠핑 사이트들이 조성되어 있다. 나무가 적어 그늘이 없고 화장실과 샤워실, 개수대등 편의시설이 낡은 게 다소 불편하지만 계곡물놀이를 하기에는 아주좋다.
