Hidden away in the grassy countryside of Friesland in the northwest Netherlands, this stunning glamping resort offers much in the way of amenities and facilities to make any discerning glamper feel right at home. Nestled between Workum and Hindeloopen in the charming town of Welgelegen, guests can explore the area with ease and excitement. These funky glamping tents, designed to mimic a 1965-Volkswagon minibus, accommodate two guests with ease. Comfy double mattresses await guests inside the tents, along with a table and chairs, and a lantern for lighting. Furnished in a 1960's style with retro decor and a vibey atmosphere, guests will enjoy the humor that comes along with the tents.

Admiring the landscape is not hard from just outside, where guests can enjoy their morning coffee or a beer after a day spent by Ijsselmeer. Breakfast is on offer in the Art-Deco dining room or outside on the patio. The shower facilities are a stone's throw away and have a small fee and guests are politely asked to bring along their sleeping bags. The tents are pet-friendly, so guests need not worry about leaving their dogs at home. Amenities and facilities vary on the property and provide creature comforts, making every glamper feel right at home. With a variety of different accommodations for different needs and desires, the resort has something for everyone. The farmhouse offers a lovely atmosphere for mingling, relaxing, or playing darts. The hosts serve freshly baked pizza every Saturday and there is also grilling site that offers a barbecue for all glampers. A full Frisian breakfast is available if ordered the evening before and is served in the Art Deco dining room or outside on the Frisian Mediterranean patio, weather permitting. The ecological, natural swimming pool is a great place to cool off in summer, with a large jetty ideal for sunbathing. For some relaxation, guests can use the infrared sauna.
