About this campground
We offer our meadow of fruit trees on the outskirts of the city without any special infrastructure for campers who can be self-sufficient. Nearby are the bike paths R6 and the Route of the Sidra and the Huerta. As a destination for excursions you can reach Marburg at 22 km, Alsfeld at 25 km or Amöneburg at 6 km. The geotour of Felsenmeer, reached after 2.5 km, shows the most outstanding geological aspects of the Gruese Stones and the Felsenmeer and offers a view from above the largest basalt quarry in Central Europe. In the months of May until its winter trip, you can also observe storks in its nest about 200 meters from the site.

In Homberg are highly recommended the castle (civil) and the trailing trail premium Schächerbachtour. In our village there is also a bakery/cafeteria with breakfast and a gas station 200 meters from the parking square. Due to the steep curve at the end of our alley without exit on the road, we have only left room for mobile homes up to 6 meters, but we are also in situ.
