The campsite is located on a farm that spans nearly 1 Ha, featuring a meadow and over 2,000m2 of forest. It's situated 1 km away from the town center of Friol, in a peaceful area with no surrounding houses. Friol offers basic services and a scenic river promenade. There's also a public swimming pool available for a small fee. Nearby attractions include the Torre S. Paio de Narla, just 10 minutes away, and the Roman Temple of Vault, a 15-minute drive. The Sobrado dos Monxes Monastery is 20 minutes away, as is the city of Lugo. A Coruña, Santiago, and the beaches are all about an hour's drive. The O Courel and Os Ancares mountains are a bit further, at 1h 30min.

Friol is also a great starting point for a variety of outdoor activities. A popular hiking route passes through the town, connecting the primitive way to Santiago in Lugo with the north way in Sobrado dos Monxes. This route is marked with a green arrow and can be found on Wikiloc. The area also offers mountain bike tracks and opportunities for swimming. Motorcycle enthusiasts will appreciate the beautiful rides in the area. The campsite allows pets.
