About this campground
Formby Point Caravan Park, is situated on Lifeboat Road, Formby, on the north west coast of England and close to Southport. The caravan park, has been family owned for many years and it enjoys an unspoilt, natural beauty, along this stretch of historic coast line. Set in tall pine trees with woodland areas, very close to the red squirrel nature reserve. The beach is just a short walk away, where ships can be seen entering and leaving the port of Liverpool, along with beautiful views of the Welsh coastline. The beach and woodlands are popular for walks and family picnics.

Many touring caravans and motorhomes, return on a regular basis for peace, tranquility and the wildlife in the surrounding area. Also the friendliness of the residents, in the static holiday homes, situated on the large caravan park.The town centre is just a short walk, car, bike ride away from the caravan park, with many nice shops and amenities to compliment the area. There is a good, local train and bus service, to Southport and Liverpool. The area hosts many attractions, over the season, with many places to visit.Touring ParkThe touring park is very popular, where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Some pitches are under the tall pine trees or on our large hardstanding area. We have spaces for 20 caravans or motorhomes, all with electric hook ups, with easy access to the shower and toilet facilities . The squirrel sanctuary, is only a short distance from the caravan park. You can explore the beach, sand dunes or walk through the corsican and scots pine woodland, to absorb the beauty.
