With unlimited routes from a flat stroll to bagging a local Munro or just a scenic drive from the Glens to the coast, it’s all waiting to be explored. Angus offers a huge diversity of places to visit from castles, gardens, forts and abbeys to standing stones, monuments and museums. The local market towns of Brechin, Forfar, and Kirriemuir, offer a wealth of shopping, eateries and history to discover, Montrose and Arbroath a short drive to the East, with the historic city of Dundee to the South and Royal Deeside and Aberdeen to the North, both under an hours drive. These select sites are small, privately run campsites that operate under the Club’s jurisdiction and can only accommodate up to 5 caravans or motorhomes and up to 10 trailer tents or tents, unless express permission has been given by the Club to accommodate more. They range from secluded Hideaways to fully facilitated family friendly sites, and are often found in locations where larger commercial sites are prohibited so you could be camping close to a beach or in the National Park, for example.
