Idyllic First Camp Mörudden – Hammarö right on the shores of Vänern offers holiday accommodation in a wonderful archipelago environment. The combination of beautiful and untouched nature, many nice bathing spots and the proximity to cozy Karlstad is unbeatable and means that many guests return here year after year. There are also amenities such as a café, kiosk and service shop, as well as the popular restaurant Möruddens Brygga, which is known for its well-prepared food. Hammarö offers several nature reserves with lovely walking areas for relaxing walks.

There are also plenty of nice bathing spots with both sandy beach and rocks, and it is something of an eldorado for anyone who likes fishing, surfing and other water sports. When visiting during the winter, it is instead popular to walk or pimp on Lake Vänern's ice. Karlstad with shopping, culture and entertainment is only 9 kilometers away and can be easily reached by both car and public transport.
