No matter what the season, you are in for a treat as you watch the sunset behind the mountains beyond the lake or the sunrise reflect on the mountains from the east. As the name suggests, Fiordland Great Views Holiday Park sits nestled in a peaceful countryside location next to the town of Te Anau, which is the gateway to Fiordland.

It is close enough to the town centre to be convenient, yet far enough away to provide the sort of peace and quiet that is hard to find in the busy tourist town. It’s a special place, and we look forward to welcoming you soon. Fiordland Great Views Holiday Park is a convenient starting point for Milford Sound, Doubtful Sound, Routeburn Track, Hollyford Track, Kepler Track, Greenstones Track, Caples and Dusky Track, and the Glow Worm Caves. We provide free storage for vehicles, caravans, boats and luggage while you are walking the tracks. Activities within walking distance include the Upukerora River, a 250 metre walk for swimming, fishing and kayaking. Nearby Patience Bay is a 20-minute walk or a 5-minute drive to experience the edge of this truly wilderness region.
