About this campground
A rustic farm tucked away at the foot of the Lammermuir Hills, it has been owned by the same family since 1933. Alongside the farmland it boasts 130 acres of woodland and a protected status due to rare flora and fauna by the Danskine Loch, this is a nature lovers dream. Carfrae Farm has a rich history of welcoming visitors to the farm with 3 holiday cottages and a farm shop in addition to providing space for motor homes to stop over for the night. Enjoy local products, hot drinks & snacks from the well-stocked farm shop on site.

Enjoy a paddle boarding session on a quiet Loch, take a farm tour to learn about the farms rich history and farming methods, relax in the hammock in the wood, head out for a walk or simply relax in the quiet surroundings. Carfrae Farm even has a cute little cafe selling organic produce, snacks and hot drinks. This is a hidden gem and a must-visit on any trip around Scotland. There is a local pub 1 mile away serving great food in the village of Garvald (recommended to contact the Garvald Inn direct to check opening days/times). Dogs on lead at all times.
