Welcome to this Tiny House! A secluded and serene tiny house getaway where you can experience a little slice of our remote paradise on the Eyre Peninsula. The ideal farm stay South Australia escape situated on a 2000-acre bushland property that offers bushwalking, bird watching, and spending days exploring the dunes and rugged coastline of the Eyre Peninsula. Swimming, surfing, windsurfing, sand boarding, 4WD, and fishing are a few of the relaxing excursions at Lake Newland National Park and the Walkers Rocks. The Space: Walkers Tiny Escape sits in the rural locality of Colton, on the west coast of Eyre Peninsula overlooking the Great Australian Bight.

A cozy retreat nestled in native bushland adjacent to Lake Newland National Park and 2 minutes away from Walkers Rock. Easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities are all included. The bathroom follows ecologically sustainable principles, including an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers). It focuses on satisfying people's needs with natural resources and processes to save water by using eco-friendly toilets to save the environment. Our local recommendations: - Port Kenny is a small town known for its amazing fishing spots, marine life experience, stunning lakes, and natural parks. - Locks Well is one of the most ideal spots for catching big Australian salmons. Sunsets on the west coast are also beautiful along the rugged coastline. - Elliston is a small coastal town on the west coast of Eyre Peninsula with exciting attractions such as the Elliston Coastal Trail, Waterloo Bay, Jetty, and more. - Talia Caves is set on the shores of the spectacular Waterloo Bay, which is famous for its surfing, fishing, and sightings of sea lions, dolphins, and southern right whales. - Venus Bay, Sheringa Beach, and Walkers Rocks Beach are just a few of the nearby beaches that offers swimming, coastal walks, surfing, and other watersports you can enjoy. Getting Around: By car: - 10 km drive from Elliston township - 169 km drive from the nearest Airport in Port Lincoln. Both 2WD and 4WD access. By public transport: We recommend guests travel by private vehicle. We also deliver groceries for a fee. Other Things to Note: - No WiFi available - We are a working sheep farm - Expect sheep and farm noise on our property - No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed - No smoking allowed inside or outside the tiny house - Again, guests have restricted access to our private residence and sheds - Given the rural setting, children are welcome under CLOSE ADULT SUPERVISION - We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge - Mobile reception has a strong signal with Telstra, Optus, and Vodafone, while there is no available signal with 2 degrees and Spark. Farm guidelines - Keep a safe distance from farm animals as they are easily agitated - Please do not enter animal paddocks or yards without the land host's permission - We also ask guests not to feed farm animals as they are on specific diets for their health Important note: - Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property - Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban - In order to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our cassette toilets a minimum additional cleaning fee is applied for stays of 5 nights or more.
