Children's facilities at the park The outdoor pool at EuroParcs Recreatiepark De Woudhoeve has a special children's pool and various pieces of playground equipment. Upon arrival, a fun holiday activity booklet is waiting for the children. Restaurants at the park For a place where you can enjoy a relaxing meal, Restaurant Kosteluk, near the park, is the place to be. Restaurant Kosteluk has a cosy atmosphere and children are more than welcome. Besides a good dinner, you can also have lunch here from 12:00. The restaurant is open every day in high season and closed on Mondays and Tuesdays in low season. Surroundings EuroParcs Recreatiepark De Woudhoeve In Egmond aan den Hoef, the ruins of Kasteel op den Hoef and the Slotkapel church are beautiful to see. About 4 kilometres from Egmond aan den Hoef is the well-known seaside resort of Egmond aan Zee. Here you can shop in one of the cute boutiques or take a walk on the beach and grab a terrace. It is also great to ride a horse on the beach and feel the wind through your hair. When in Egmond aan Zee, take a look at the national monument Egmond Lighthouse J.C.J. van Speijk. Want to know more about Egmond's history? Then visit the Museum van Egmond. The museum has a treasure hunt game for children. A little more action? Practice a water sport on the beach or go to the Flamingo Casino and try your luck. Also take a look in the village of Bergen, known for its art and culture. A visit to Schoorl with its quiet beaches and beautiful forests and dunes is also worthwhile. Between 6 April and 7 September, there is Kaasmarkt (Cheese Market) in Alkmaar.
