About this campground
This is an area of 20 acres with some really nice shady places to set up the camp. We provide a large bathroom with a rainwater toilet, sink and cleaners. We also have a nice sun shower that is very refreshing. It is a large property where you can have some privacy. The nights stand out by a canopy of stars as there are no street lights. It is a very quiet environment where the stars are clearly visible at night. We try to keep the noise low, but do not oppose a bit of pleasant music. There is very little traffic as we are close to the end of a dead end street. The activities San Marcos has one of the cleanest rivers in the state.

It is a river fed by springs and offers many options for guests. There is tubing as well as kayaking and canoeing. We can rent any of them. Please ask for prices. There are also hiking trails of the spring lake that are 10 minutes drive from the camp. Other aspects San Marcos is a small city that offers a quiet environment. We have a newly reconstructed library and the outlet shopping center is close also for those who can not resist a gambling.
