Here you can go shopping or simply stroll through the village. Rijssen is around 5 kilometres away and offers many shops, restaurants and lovely places to linger. Wierden is also nearby. There is a large swimming lake with sunbathing area and an 18-hole golf course. The surrounding area offers many opportunities for excursions into nature: hiking trails, cycle routes, canoe trips on the Regge, the Holterberg National Park, windmills, haystacks and much more.
