About this campground
The Erongo Plateau Camp is located in the heart of the majestic Erongo mountain range. A visit should calm the soul and relax the spirit. At the campsite there are spotlessly clean showers (hot & cold) and toilets. Wood can be bought in the camp. There are fireplaces, a small roof for shade and each location has its own faucet. We have no power supply, no swimming pool and no shop. You should therefore bring your own camping equipment and food. In Omaruru, 35 km from the campsite, you can buy your fresh food at the Omaruru spa. For the adventurous there are hiking trails that lie in the mountains. Game on the farm is of course there. This area is best known for its mountain zebra. You can also see Oryx, Kudu, steenbok, Damara Dik-Dik, Springbok, Giraffe etc. You can listen to the sounds of Hyena, Jackal, Leopard or even owls at night.
