Just 12 miles from Chester, it is a perfect base for visiting the varied activity and tourist attractions in the area.The park comprises of a 2 acre marked pitch touring field, a 6.5 acre camping and rally field and a modern underfloor heated toilet block with free showers.We are confident you will have a wonderful time with us and you can be sure of a warm welcome. We take ourenvironmental responsibility seriously and encourage our visitors to recycle.Touring FieldThe 35 pitches suitable for caravans, motor homes and trailer tents are situated in a two acre, mostly level field with a hedged boundary. Hard surfaced access roads lead to a mixture of all-weather and grass pitches each with 10 amp electric hook-up.Premier PLUS Pitches - Each of these will have a generous all weather gravelled surface, electric hook up, fresh water and grey waste facility, picnic bench, dustbin and night time low level lighting. Other on-site facilities include an environmentally-friendly Amenity Block opened in May 2008. Along with the usual male and female facilities, the block includes a dishwashing room, a laundry room and a disabled/toddler wet room (accessed by a RADAR key).As ball games are not allowed in the touring field the middle of the camping/rally field is available for permitted recreational pursuits (no kite flying).When using ground sheets on the grass pitches, a breathable style must be used.All dogs are to be kept on a lead within your camping area, a dog walk is also available. Owners are asked to ensure that the 'usual' health precautions are taken to keep the park and immediate locality clean by clearing up after their pets and using the appropriate waste bins provided.Camping & Rally fieldThe 6.5 acre camping/rally field is split between camping for tents and caravan rallies andhas views across the Cheshire Plain to the Pennines.Within the field there are 16 x 10amp electric hook ups that are predominately for rally use.The Motorhome Service Point situated just inside the Camping & Rally field has two drinkingwater taps and a drain for grey waste. A refuse and recycling area is adjacent to this ServicePoint. These facilities are available to all users of the Camping & Rally field.All dogs are to be kept on a lead within your camping area, a dog walk is also available.Owners are asked to ensure that the 'usual' health precautions are taken to keep the park andimmediate locality clean by clearing up after their pets and using the appropriate wastebins provided.CampingOur Tent season starts at Easter and normally finishes at the end of September weatherpermitting. Tents are pitched around the edge of the camping area, leaving the centre freefor recreational pursuits (no kite flying). No generators are allowed on the Camping/Rallyfield during the tenting season.Campers have the use of the Amenity Block adjacent to the camping field. A facility forfreezing ice-packs is available.BBQ's are allowed as long as they are off the grass and any used charcoal and ashes aredeposited in the designated metal bin. No fires, fireworks or Chinese lanterns allowed.RalliesGenerally rallies within the rally field have the use of the water taps and chemical toilet disposal point. The Amenity Block is not available to ralliers except when they are part of an organised event in the rally barn or ‘wee snug’ (pictured right) when the toilets can be used. Please check with your rally steward for any change to these conditions. For everyone's comfort, children on the rallies are requested to stay and play within the rally field.The 'Rally Barn' is a facility specially equipped for hire by organised groups or rallies for social gatherings etc. It is a block-built 40' x 36' carpeted barn. It has portable heating, a maximum occupancy of 80 and seating for up to 64 people, a small dance floor, a Hi-Fi system, TV, pool table, table tennis table, dart boards and also facilities for making hot drinks and a kitchen sink unit.The 'Wee Snug' is a small meeting room that will seat 20 people and has a compact sink unit. By prior arrangement catering of hot or cold food, can be provided for your rally at very reasonable prices. We welcome the opportunity to discuss your requirements.
