Bring your own sleeping bags, or bedding can be provided. Full board is included, with breakfast in the Walker's Hut, and an evening meal cooked while you join us around our campfire. Packed lunches can be provided on request for your day's excursions. It's perfectly situated right next to the South Devon Coastal Footpath running down from Bolt Head Airfield and not too far from Soar Mill Cove. We provide teas, cold drinks, fresh coffee, refreshments and our own home made cakes. East Soar is located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the farm has excellent access to the many footpaths that run off along the coast, down to the many hidden coves and sandy beaches.In the evening the Walker's Hut located doubles up as a seating area where you can enjoy your meal, cooked on the open fire or barbecue.Indoor CampingFor the autumn and winter months we move the bell tents inside our range of different barns which gives added protection from the elements.All the same facilities are on offer and we have a range of all-weather events throughout the year.Holiday CottageOur holiday cottage is on site, adjacent to the main farmhouse. If you prefer a roof, 4 solid walls and a kitchen then our holiday cottage is perfect for families. Providing affordable self-catering accommodation in South Devon. Soar Mill Cove is a short walk away, a beautiful hidden cove accessible only by foot, and Salcombe is a short drive (less than 10 minutes). Tea, coffee, bath towels and linen are provided. We allow one well behaved dog at an extra charge of £25. The bathroom is on the first floor so not ideal for persons needing extra help with stairs.Wild Camping BarnWe have a fantastic old barn at the bottom of the farm. This facility can be rented as a "wild camping barn". It is very close to the coastal path and can sleep big or small groups. It has a fire pit with benches and fire wood can be provided.BunkhouseOur bunkhouse is now ready for occupancy! It provides accommodation in the loft of a beautiful stone barn. Sole occupancy for groups or families available. As with our camping service meals are included in the price.DirectionsDO NOT FOLLOW SAT NAV AFTER TOTNES.Leave the A38 signposted for Totnes, Kingsbridge and Salcombe. Arriving in Totnes turn right at Western Bypass/A381, continue to follow the A381. At Stumpy Cross take 2nd exit signposted Salcombe A381(A379). At Sorley Cross carry straight over signposted Salcombe A381 (A379). At Bantham Cross Roundabout, take the 1st exit onto B3197. At Langworthy Barn Turn right onto A381. Arriving in Malborough Turn right at Higher Town (this will take you through the village of Malborough). After you have passed the local post office and church continue straight on. The road forks, when you see a sign for Soar Mill Cove Hotel bear left. Continue along this road until you reach a large (National Trust) gravel car park. You will see a gate to the left with our sign on it. Continue along the farm track past Bolt Head Airfield. This will take you right to our front door.
