About this campground
Blue Bill Point is a peaceful Army Corps of Engineers campground located on the banks of Flat Rock Bay on Fort Gibson Lake in northeastern Oklahoma. Popular with family groups and retirees, the campground offers 40 family sites with electric hookups and 3 additional primitive sites without hookups, plus one group day-use picnic shelter. The gradual sloping shoreline offers easy access to the water for fishing, swimming, and mooring boats, and the protected shallow cove is ideal for kayaks and canoes. The campground is surrounded by a mixed hardwood forest, with a small fishing pond located nearby.

Fort Gibson Lake spans nearly 20,000 acres with 225 miles of shoreline, providing excellent boating and swimming opportunities. Anglers enjoy fishing for black bass, white bass, crappie, and several varieties of catfish and panfish. Amenities include flush and pit toilets, drinking water, hot showers, a dump station, playground, concrete cornhole pitch, two boat ramps, and a courtesy dock. Historic Fort Gibson, established in 1824 and now a National Historical Landmark, is located nearby and features a reconstructed log stockade and original structures from the late 1800s.
