About this campground
Dogtown Lake Campground offers a scenic pine forest setting along the shore of a medium-sized lake on the Kaibab National Forest's Williams Ranger District. Named after the extensive prairie dog towns that once covered the area, the campground sits at 7,050 feet elevation with spectacular views of Bill Williams Mountain. The lake is stocked with rainbow trout, brown trout, bluegill, largemouth bass, and crappies, making it a popular fishing destination. Only small electric boat motors up to 10 horsepower are permitted on the lake.
