About this campground
The Bureau of Land Management's Lake Havasu Field Office manages 73 boat-access campsites distributed over 20 miles along the Arizona shore of Lake Havasu. These shoreline sites are only accessible by boat and offer a unique opportunity to camp directly on the lake's edge. Each campsite is equipped with a picnic table, barbecue grill, and trash receptacle, and the majority of sites also feature a shade structure and pit toilet. These sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations. Day use passes are valid until sunset, while overnight passes are valid until 9:00 a.m. the following morning. A 14-day stay limit is in place.

Visitors can purchase day use or overnight passes online through Recreation.gov or YourPassNow, or pay at on-site iron rangers. An annual pass option is also available for frequent visitors. The campsites provide easy access to boating, fishing, swimming, paddling, and other water sports on Lake Havasu. Visitors should be aware that boats must be inspected for aquatic invasive species, and decontamination may be required. The sites offer a remote camping experience with basic amenities while enjoying the scenic beauty of Lake Havasu.
