Silver Falls Guard Station is a historic Forest Service building situated along the East Fork of the San Juan River in the San Juan National Forest, east of Pagosa Springs in Mineral County, Colorado. Built as part of the early 20th century forest administration infrastructure, this old guard station now serves primarily as a landmark and orientation point for visitors accessing the nearby Silver Falls. The trail to Silver Falls begins behind the guard station and follows a short but steep route of approximately 1/8 mile to the base of the scenic waterfall. The area sits at an elevation of around 8,200 feet in a forested mountain setting.
