About this campground

Celina Northface Loop is part of the Indian-Celina Lakes Recreation Area, located in Hoosier National Forest just two miles south of Interstate 64. This shaded campground loop contains 33 individual sites appropriate for RVs of various lengths, with most sites being non-electric though some electric hookups are available. The campground serves as a base for exploring the recreation area's two fishing lakes, Celina Lake (164 acres) and Indian Lake (152 acres), which are known as some of the best panfish lakes in southern Indiana. The campground operates year-round with seasonal service levels.

During peak season (mid-April through late October), the area is managed by a concessionaire and offers full amenities including centralized drinking water, modern flush toilets, and hot showers. Non-peak season (late October through early April) brings reduced services with vault toilets and lower camping fees. The recreation area features the Two Lakes Loop Trail for hiking and the Celina Interpretive Trail, both offering scenic views of hardwood forests and lake vistas. Day-use fees apply during peak season for accessing the recreation area, boat ramps, trails, parking, and fishing pier. Electric motors only are permitted on the lakes. The area is popular with anglers and hikers, with relatively light traffic during fall and winter months. Quiet hours are enforced from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
