Lake Ontario is known for excellent black bass fishing, and the marina accommodates anglers seeking to take advantage of these waters. Day-use amenities include a children's playground, multiple picnic areas with pavilions available for rent, and hiking trails that wind through the park's varied terrain. During winter months, the park's hiking trails serve double duty as cross-country skiing routes. While the campground closes seasonally, the boat launches at Westcott Beach, Chaumont, and Stoney Creek remain open year-round from dawn to dusk. The park is conveniently located near the charming towns of Sackets Harbor and Henderson Harbor, with easy access to Watertown for supplies and the broader Thousand Islands area for additional exploration.
