Rye Spur Horse Camp is a dispersed camping area located at the Rye Spur Trailhead in the Fremont-Winema National Forest, approximately 50 minutes northwest of Klamath Falls, Oregon. This primitive horse camp is specifically designed for equestrians seeking access to backcountry trails in the Klamath Ranger District. The camp serves as the trailhead for the Rye Spur Trail, a 6.2-mile route designed as a pack and saddle trail with higher clearing limits and wider turns to accommodate horses and their riders. The trail cuts through dense, shady mixed conifer forest where campers may glimpse deer and birds.

The trail also links to South Ridge Trail and can be accessed from Fourmile Lake Trailhead for extended riding opportunities. Facilities are minimal, consisting of one vault toilet and dispersed camping areas. No water is available on-site, so visitors must bring their own. The campground operates seasonally from late June through September, weather dependent, and is accessible via Forest Service Road 3661 and spur road 360.
