About this campground

Marys Peak Campground is located on the highest peak in the Oregon Coast Range at 4,097 feet elevation within the Marys Peak Scenic Botanical Special Interest Area. This quaint campground features 6 sites nestled among old-growth Douglas fir, noble fir, and western red cedar trees, offering an intimate mountain camping experience. The campground operates seasonally from May through November, weather dependent, and is accessible via Forest Road 3010.

Just down the road from the campground, the Marys Peak Day Use Area offers awe-inspiring panoramic views. On clear days, visitors can see the Pacific Ocean to the west and many Cascade peaks to the east, including Mount Hood, Mount Jefferson, and the Three Sisters. The area provides excellent hiking opportunities and is the most prominent peak west of Corvallis. Note that dispersed camping is not allowed within the Special Interest Area; camping is only permitted at the established campground.
