About this campground
Trapper Creek Campground occupies a scenic location on the northeast shore of Upper Priest Lake within the Upper Priest Lake Scenic Area. This remote campground is accessible only by boat from the thoroughfare or by hiking approximately 6 miles on Upper Priest Lake Trail #302, making it a true backcountry experience. The five primitive campsites are situated along sandy beaches with beautiful views across the lake to Plowboy Mountain and the surrounding Selkirk Mountains. Each site is furnished with a fire ring, picnic table, and bear-proof storage box. The campground has vault toilets but no potable water, so visitors must bring their own drinking water.

A strict pack-in, pack-out policy means all garbage and waste must be carried out.
