About this campground
Farnum Creek is a quaint double-loop campground set on the lovely shores of Milford Lake, the largest man-made lake in Kansas. The campground features 59 campsites, with more than half offering electric hookups and five pull-through RV pads, including one accessible site. Located at 1,200 feet elevation, Milford Lake extends from the Republican River with a surface area of 15,700 acres and 163 miles of shoreline. The campground provides excellent access to boating, swimming, fishing, birding, and biking. Nearly 70% of the surrounding land resources are available for public hunting, and a fish cleaning station serves anglers returning from the lake.

The facility includes restrooms, showers, and drinking water during the operating season. Nearby attractions include the Milford Nature Center and Fish Hatchery located below the Milford Dam, and a golf course adjacent to the nature center. The campground is operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and is located mid-lake on the west shore area, next to the town of Milford.
