Upper Pine Grove Campground

Upper Pine Grove Campground is a small, tranquil campground located along Rock Creek in the Eastern Sierra's Inyo National Forest. Situated at 9,400 feet elevation, the campground features 9 first-come, first-served campsites nestled among tall Jeffrey Pines. Some sites are deliberately flat to provide easier accessibility for campers. Each site includes a picnic table, fire pit, and bear box for food storage. The campground provides vault toilets and potable water via a hand pump. Located approximately 8 miles west of Tom's Place on Rock Creek Road, the area is an active bear habitat, so all food must be secured in the provided bear boxes when not attended or overnight.
