Named after the M*A*S*H character who allegedly graduated from Dartmouth, this shelter provides a rustic backcountry experience for hikers traversing the Appalachian Trail or exploring the Holts Ledge area. The shelter is located between Smarts Mountain and Moose Mountain in a scenic forested setting. Hikers should be prepared for primitive conditions and practice Leave No Trace principles.
