About this campground
Copper Creek Campground is located in the Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest at 5,300 feet elevation, approximately 14 miles northeast of Lincoln, Montana. The campground offers 17 sites in a forested mountain setting with convenient access to both developed and wilderness recreation opportunities. Snowbank Lake, a 5-acre fishing and boating lake, is located directly across the road from the campground. The Indian Meadows Trailhead is just two miles away, providing access into the Scapegoat Wilderness for extended backcountry trips. Each campsite includes a concrete picnic table and fire pit. The campground provides vault toilets and drinking water from a hand pump.

Sites are first-come, first-served with a nightly fee of $15 per site plus $5 for additional vehicles. Access is via Montana Highway 200 and Forest Road 330 (Copper Creek Road). The campground is located in active grizzly bear habitat, and a Food Storage Order is in effect requiring proper storage of food and attractants. Length of stay is limited to 14 consecutive days.
