About this campground
Tie Creek Campground is one of five campgrounds situated along the scenic Middle Fork Payette River, north of Garden Valley in Boise National Forest. The campground sits among Douglas fir and lodgepole pine trees that provide partial shade, with some sites offering river views through the dense vegetation along the banks. The Middle Fork Payette River offers good to excellent fishing opportunities most of the year, with anglers casting for whitefish and rainbow trout. The surrounding area is home to diverse wildlife including deer, elk, and red-tailed hawks.
