About this campground
Seaquest State Park is a 475-acre year-round camping destination set among lush fir trees in the shadow of Mount St. Helens volcano in Castle Rock, Washington. The park sits along the western flank of Silver Lake, a shallow wetland lake home to diverse bird species and wildlife. With over 12 miles of hiking and biking trails winding through forested areas, including an accessible boardwalk trail along the wetland shoreline, visitors enjoy spectacular views of the volcano and surrounding landscape. The campground offers 85 total campsites divided among several loops. The north, south, and mid-camp loops are set in forest environments with 52 standard campsites and 18 partial hookup sites.

The T-loop features 15 full hookup sites. Maximum site length is 50 feet with limited availability for larger rigs. Three hiker/biker sites are also available. Five yurts located in a wooded area provide alternative overnight accommodations, each sleeping up to five guests. A reservable group camp for up to 25 people includes a covered shelter, tent area, fire pit, and braziers. Seaquest connects to the Mount St. Helens Interpretive Center through a pedestrian tunnel, providing educational exhibits about the 1980 eruption and subsequent ecological recovery. The park features five restrooms with one ADA-accessible facility, showers, a dump station, day-use picnic shelter, playground, volleyball court, horseshoe pits, and an amphitheater. The day-use area includes expansive grassy fields perfect for family gatherings. Located just off Spirit Lake Highway, the park serves as an excellent base camp for exploring Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument.
