About this campground

Quartzite Campground at Devil's Lake State Park is built on what was once a 9-hole golf course, established in 1969. The campground features 100 sites spread across mostly open, grassy terrain with medium and large trees scattered throughout the grounds. Many campsites have nearby trees for limited shade or are positioned on the perimeter near the surrounding woods. The open and spacious layout makes it particularly popular with large recreational vehicles. The campground offers 75 electric sites and 25 non-electric sites, each equipped with a picnic table, gravel or paved parking area, room for at least one family tent, and a metal fire ring.

One accessible campsite is available for visitors with accessibility needs. The campground has one shower building with restroom facilities, two pit toilets, and a dump/fill station. A playground is centrally located for families. Quartzite is the only campground at Devil's Lake State Park open year-round, though services are limited during winter months. The campground is accessible from the entrance road near the Nature Center or directly from County Road DL, and sits about 0.33 miles from the lakeshore. All sites are reservable through the Wisconsin State Park reservation system.
