Denfurlong Farm Caravan & CampsiteDenfurlong Farm Caravan & Campsite, Chedworth, is set in a beautiful and peaceful corner of the Cotswolds in an area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB). We have had a small caravan site on our farm for over 40 years. Lying within 400 acres of farmland which is just waiting for you to explore.FacilitiesOur caravan site is all about getting back to nature. Beautifully quiet, it has no electric hook-up. This gives you the opportunity to get back to nature and listen to the sounds of the countryside. It also has no hard standing, but as it's an old quarry there is very little soil so even in the wettest weather there is little chance of getting stuck.

Summer 2012 was incredibly wet and still nobody got stuck. (Worse case scenario, there's always a tractor to pull you out!)At the moment we don't have permanent toilet/shower facilities, however we will have a portable toilet on site from the Easter until the end of September. For summer 2013 (July & August) we are hoping to have a portable shower, watch this space for more information.We are a working farm so there are often tractors to be seen, activities range from ploughing and sowing in the winter to hay making and combining in summer. The cattle are located at our farm at the other end of the village, but their milk is delivered fresh to our farm shop every day.Animals on site are our horses (and foals during the summer) and our miniature Shetland pony Black-Jack.Our site is nice and spacious, so even when we are full you will never be too close to your neighbours - unless you choose to be!Site Office & Shop/CafeOur site office is also our farm shop and café. We are open from 9am everyday and provide:• freshly baked bread and milk• daily newspapers & magazines*• on and off licence• take away fish & chips or curry Fridays 12-9pm• Calor Gas (propane, butane)• our homemade ice cream• local meat and vegetables• Free WiFi in our cafe Our shop is not only stocked with lots of lovely local produce, we also have everything you might forget, from toilet paper to washing up liquid, cornflakes to gravy granules and everything in between.*We can order in any papers/magazines for you, so if you have a special requirement please let us know.Fire Pits/BBQsWe know that one of the nicest things about camping is the camp fire, which is why we allow fires on site. For safety we have set areas which are levelled and cemented. We have fire pits and bbqs available for hire and a plentiful supply of marshmallows and sausages for roasting on them.Hire is £6 and includes a bag of charcoal or wood. There is a refundable deposit of £20 payable on collection.Costs & OpeningFully open from 1st March - 31st October.
