There is also a restaurant and bar available in the main building with views overlooking the Coral Sea. The property has a low impact philosophy so all of the buildings are designed and constructed to ensure that the vegetation and birdlife is disturbed as little as possible. To further minimize ongoing greenhouse gas emissions, air-conditioning is not necessary because the natural cooling effect of the rainforest has been incorporated into the design. Cross ventilation and ceiling fans cool the accommodations quite adequately. Facilities include an outdoor swimming pool in the rainforest, a library, non-smoking rooms, an on-site restaurant, a bar/lounge, a tour desk, WiFi Internet, free parking, broadband internet access, a café, guest laundry, and a camp kitchen.
