About this campground
This adorable cabin rental offers beautiful mountains views, is an easy scenic drive up 87 from NYC, and sleeps up to four people. There is one queen-size bed in the loft, a single bed in a living room alcove, and a big sofa. The kitchen has a bank of windows soaking in the south facing views of Gore Mountain, a treasured collection of copper pots and pans and an antique milkshake machine. There are reused antique beams, leaded glass reproduction windows from a wrecking yard, a rebuilt Vermont Castings woodstove, art work and Asian artifacts shipped to us when my parents recently downsized. There is soft seating in the living room as well as a wood burning fireplace.

Somehow, it all came together -- the cottage has the true characteristic of Adirondack life as so our other on-site cottages. We have a happy lab dog that greets people and free-ranging old pony. Summers are wonderful with cool mountain breezes, nearby lakes and the Hudson River to swim, bathe or fish in. Fall is glorious with all the trees turning color. Winter is glorious with bracing winds, snow, and views of Gore Mountain. These delightful glamping accommodations feature wood-burning stoves, an outdoor fire pit for guests to toast marshmallows on an evening and even an all-new natural wood hot tub!. The glamping tents share a common bonfire which is great for getting to know other guests and singing campfire songs. Additionally, glampers can thoroughly enjoy amazing stargazing at night from the comfy Adirondack chairs. The host prefers to get fires going for the guests.
