The station also has a good café.There are two long-distance walks that go through the Forest. The Sandstone Trail runs for 34 miles through Cheshire and Shropshire while the Baker Way connects the Forest with the historic city of Chester.In Chester you will find a beautiful, Gothic cathedral, the 13th century 'Rows' of shops and Britain's largest Roman Amphitheatre, now managed by English Heritage.Chester Zoo is one of the largest zoos in the country, home to 7,000 animals spanning 400 different species.Britain's first - and now England's only - working Boat Lift is at Anderton.Liverpool is half an hour's drive from the campsite.
