There are only three (3) campsites, too small for most trailers and motorhomes, but capable of handling tear drop trailers, or trailers up to 16 feet in length. Two of the campsites are large enough for small to medium-sized RVs. Roads within the campground can be tight and steep. It’s best to park your trailer or motorhome on a wide shoulder along State Highway 150 before entering because you may have difficulty getting out if all campsites are full. This is a popular campground when open due to fishing in the Rio Hondo, and due to people hiking through the Columbine-Hondo Wilderness and Wheeler Park Wilderness.
